Life in the Light
Learning to walk the Lord’s path with His immeasurable light guiding my steps, this website is a place for women to participate and learn with me as I seek Him every day, in every way.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. — John 1:5
I believe in the Lord’s light. I believe it has the power to cleanse, heal, find lost things, and dispel darkness. Nothing will ever overcome it. God’s shines in our lives because of Who He is. He is light.
John 8:12— When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
I am on a daily search for His light, to illuminate the dark places in my mind and my heart, so that I may unerringly walk in His way. I know at times I will fail, but He is faithful when I am not, and He will lead me back into the light so that I can see my way clearly before Him.
Psalm 119:105—Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

I was saved as a seven-year-old girl when my dearest friend took me with her to church every week.
Answering the altar call led me into a relationship with my Savior that would claim my life for Him in close fellowship.
As a teenager, I fell away for a time, but returned to Him in my early 20s. Since then, I have walked closely with my God and have had a marvelous time serving Him and others in His name. (I’m now 65.)
I was a missionary
January 2001 – September 2007
My beloved husband (Jeff) and I answered His call to go to the nations, and we left house and home for the foreign mission field in Russia and Ukraine. We worked with orphans in Russia and with the Tatar community (Moslems) in Ukraine. Along the way, we taught English and godly character in a university and planted a church. We’ve been back home since then, and I’ve found a new mission field online.
What life’s like for me now.

We are part of a Messianic congregation that meets at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. We are full, tithing members there. I am the volunteer coordinator for the Shabbat Service which we attend once a month on the first Friday.
I lead a Bible study at my home and teach beginning Hebrew near my church. Both are part of our small group, Jewish focus at Gateway.
I love to craft and write books for my readers and articles for other people when I’m not studying the Word or Hebrew.
