Did you know?

When you make Jesus the Lord of your life, the angels rejoice? It’s true!

“Luke 15:10 says: I tell you, in the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
Becoming a believer is not difficult, but it is extremely costly. It cost God everything. He made a perfect creation and through the sin of one man (Adam), the entire creation fell and has continued in corruption ever since.

But there’s hope!

Jesus became man and lived life in the flesh. He led the perfect life we should have lived. He died the death we deserved, but that wasn’t the end of the story!

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

Jesus is alive!

Yes, He rose again on the third day as it was prophesied (Hosea 6:1-3), and now the work is complete. Finished. There’s not a thing anyone can add to it.

You don’t need to wait until you are perfect to come to Him (you won’t ever be).

Romans 5:8 tells us: But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

There is only one thing you must do.

Ah! A trick! No, not at all. All you have to do is believe and receive. You simply need to repent of your sins, recognize that they are paid for and nailed to the cross that Jesus died on, and accept His payment for your sins as if you had paid it yourself. But God doesn’t require you to pay for any sin, past, present, or future. Then confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. Once you become a Christian, you are a brand, new creation.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
You are actually something that never existed before. A brand new creation. Sure, there will be times you’ll be tempted to sin, because that old person you were still wants to be in charge. But you are a new creation! Even if you do temporarily fall, Jesus‘ death has it covered.

That’s where repentance comes in.

Repentance means to turn the other way, a 180° turn away from sin and back to God. And no, He will not be disappointed or mad or anything. Remember Luke 15:10? (It’s up at the top.) Forgiveness is always there for you, and His arms are stretched wide to receive you back when you simply turn around. God never leaves. He is always present. If you don’t see God, it’s because you have turned away from Him. Simply turn around!

“ I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32).

Here’s the best part.

Not only are you saved from hell (yes, it’s a very real place) and saved for heaven, but now you get to live your LIFE IN THE LIGHT!

So you will be saved, if you honestly say, “Jesus is Lord,” and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death (Romans 10:9).

Let me pray with you.

I’m going to pray a simple prayer for salvation, and if you will pray along with me and believe in your heart, you will be saved! Ready?

“Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. I have lived a life that has fallen far short of Your requirements, and I know I cannot save myself. I don’t want to live life in this old, sinful state anymore. I believe that You sent Jesus to live a perfect life on my behalf, that He died the death I deserved, and that You accept His sacrifice on my behalf. I believe that on the third day, He arose again, bringing new life to all who would believe. I ask you, Lord, to come into my heart, make Your dwelling there, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and create me anew. Thank You for Your sacrifice that purchased my salvation. I believe I am now a member of the Family of God and I rejoice that You have poured your grace and forgiveness out on me. Thank you!

Now there is one more thing…
