“1 John 1:7 says: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
Life in the Light
I believe that to fully live my Life in the Light, I must constantly submit my thoughts and actions to God and ask Him to examine them.
“Psalm 139:23 says: Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns.”
It is a scientific fact that light, when used at the proper frequency and wavelength, can heal many physical problems and diseases. In addition to healing, light can cleanse. In hospitals, light is being used to clean patient rooms and battle drug-resistant bacteria.
So think about that for a minute.
If sinful man can use physical light to heal and cleanse, how much more can the Author of Life use His spiritual light to heal and cleanse our hearts, minds, and souls?
Life in the Light produces joy
When everything we are is submitted to the light, God rewards us with great joy.
“Psalm 97:10-12 tells us: O you who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Light is sown on the righteous, gladness on the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones, and praise His holy name.”
I believe we’re being called into the light.
We’ve walked far too long in the dark shadow of our mortal enemy. We have been in the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Now God is calling His people forth to walk fully in the Light so that these last days will shine forth as a beacon to those who have spiritual eyes to see.
Come. Walk with me into His glorious Light!
“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you (Isaiah 60:1-2).”
